together. Role accountabilities: As part of this role, you will be
based out of our Greenville, SC office and be responsible for
assisting Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and
executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and
remediation tasks. Fieldwork will be a key aspect of this position,
which will offer you an opportunity to be trained to oversee
drilling for soil sampling and groundwater well installation,
groundwater sampling, subcontractor oversight, operation and
maintenance of remediation systems, vapor intrusion/soil gas
surveys, among other tasks. It is essential to conduct fieldwork
with a focus on health and safety. Your core duties will include:
Conduct field work including soil, groundwater, and/or vapor
sampling in the field. Provide oversight of subcontractors for
various phases of drilling investigation work (soil borings,
in-situ groundwater sampling, and monitoring well installation
activities. Field work may require regional business travel for up
to 1-2 days per week on average, with some field events that may
last multiple weeks in a row, and opportunities to participate in
large scale site characterization and remediation. Assist task
managers and project managers with field work preparation: obtain
equipment and subcontractor quotes, order and track equipment,
supplies, and laboratory orders, prepare paperwork (field forms,
health and safety plans, etc.). Writing and preparing technical
reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda. Office work may
include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation,
cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing,
regulatory file reviews, assisting in costing and proposal
preparation, project strategy development, schedule and budget
management, and establishment of subcontracts. To be successful in
this role, you should possess strong written and oral communication
skills, be self-motivated, and exhibit independent thinking. You
should be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team
setting as well as independently and remotely. Successful
candidates will demonstrate their ability to be adaptable, creative
problem solvers who can work collaboratively as a team member. In
summary, this position encompasses both field work and office work
(task management, data analysis, report preparation, scope
preparation, and client communications). This position is
anticipated to spend 75% field work with 25% of the time spent in
office. Travel expenses are reimbursable. Qualifications &
Experience: Required Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science in
Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field (i.e.,
environmental science, physical science) 3 years of experience
within the industry Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications

this position is $57,786 - $87,480. Actual salaries will vary and
are based on several factors, such as experience, education,
budget, internal equity, project and location.
