Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a
full-semester contract in Gastonia, NC, serving elementary
students. This position supports multiple schools, including
extension classrooms and itinerant roles, within an established
district committed to providing comprehensive therapy services. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy services to
elementary students in classroom and therapy settings. Manage
caseloads within district guidelines, including itinerant and pre-K
assignments. Utilize indirect hours for administrative tasks and
participate in paid team meetings. Potentially supervise
Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Collaborate with
educators and families to support student progress. Complete
documentation in the districts IEP system (training provided).
Provide services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students when
assigned. Travel between sites as needed for itinerant service
delivery. Qualifications and Experience: Certification in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience in school-based
settings preferred. Pediatric and teletherapy experience a plus.
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain
appropriate documentation. Strong communication and teamwork
skills. Location: Gastonia, North Carolina Contract Details:
Duration: Full semester, ASAP start through May 21, 2025 Weekly
Hours: 37.5 Interview format: Zoom (individual/panel) Candidates
